"Undone" by Sara Humphries

If you haven’t read the first 3.5 books in this series then stop reading right now. While the first 3.5 books may work well as a standalone book, book 4 changes the game! This is the tale of Marianna (Purebred Amoveo) and Pete (Purebred human... or so he thinks). When we first meet Marianna of the Kodiak Bear Clan, in Untamed, she is shocked to learn her father’s true role in the Purist Movement (Purist; noun; group of purebred jerkfaces who feel that Amoveo’s should not mate with anyone other than Amoveo’s; i.e. Hybrids, Humans, Other Supernatural Beings, etc.) and now that the Purists have been revealed, runs away to New York to make up her mind about which side her loyalty lies. She hangs out in a club in Manhattan run by vampire Olivia and her coven (but that’s a horse of a different color) Now her twin brother Dante is mated with Kerry, a hybrid from the Panther clan, and while she loves her brother, she isn’t sure how she should feel. So Dante hires his friend Pete to protect his sister from both her own reckless behavior and the Purists. Sparks immediately fly between Marianna and Pete which confuses both of them. Up till now, she hasn’t found her mate yet, either in real life or in the dream plane (Amoveo’s first connect with their mate in the dream plane which strengthens the psychic bond that they share). Now Pete pretty much just thinks he’s got the hots for her and she could never love a guy like him, after all, he is just a human and not her mate. Well, they are both in for a rude awakening when they find out that things aren’t always as they seem. Ya see Pete, well, Pete is... special... and not fully human, and he isn’t a shifter either... can’t tell ya what he is cause that would give too much away but let me tell you that when you find out, you better hold on to your britches cause they are going to get blown off!!!! This story has everything... romance, intrigue, drama, sex (OMG the sex... we are talking on a snowmobile in the middle of winter!!!), mystery, suspense, action, secret babies... I laughed, I cried, I feel like I ran a damn marathon! Sara Humphries has truly created her own world. Her next book to be released is Tall, Dark and Vampire, which is a spin off to vampire Olivia’s story and I can’t wait to get my hands on that in August. I give this a very enthusiastic 5 stars and will be telling anyone and everyone who listens to me to give it a read, they will NOT be disappointed!

Faking It by Cora Carmack

Well guys, Cora Carmack has done it again. She has totally blown me out of the water with this next book in her "Losing It" series. Now I loved everything Cade ever since book 1. Now don’t get me wrong... LOVED Garrick and wanted more of him, but Cade, ::le sigh::, he is the boy next door that every girl dreamed about bringing home to Mom. When we meet our heroine, pink hair, covered in tattoos, lead singer of a band Mackenzie "Max" Miller is far from who you would expect Cade to be drawn to. Her parents have no idea of who their daughter really is because she hides her true self from them so as not to disappoint them. When they make a surprise visit for Thanksgiving, the last person that she wants to introduce to her parents is her current boyfriend "Mace". Yea, he pretty much looks like that sounds. So when she spots Cade in the coffee shop, she makes a proposition that he can’t refuse. Pretend to be her boyfriend for the next 24 hours and just make it though dinner and then they will go their separate ways. They both never expected that by faking it, that it might actually turn into the real thing. Maybe Max was exactly who Cade needed to get over Bliss.
One of my favorite things about this book is that it is told in alternating chapter POV’s so you get a more rounded story. You truly get into the heads of the characters and know exactly what they are thinking and how they are feeling at any given moment. And funny! OMG this book will make you laugh out loud so many times that people will start to move away from you. This book played hackey sack with my heart. I wanted to jump into my kindle and physically shake Max more times than I can remember and oh the dirty dirty things I wanted to do to Cade... let’s just say that someone would be walking funny for a couple of days. I loved every single second of this book and can’t imagine what Ms. Carmack could write that would top it but I am looking forward to reading her next installment in this series. I suggest keeping a box of tissues around while reading this because unless you have a cold black heart, you will, if not cry like a bitch, tear up at least a little. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun and sexy romance. 5 stars ALL THE WAY!!!

Savor You by Emily Snow

I can’t even begin to describe to you the awesomeness of this book. If you haven’t read Emily Snow’s "Devoured" series then I suggest you hold off on reading this book. In Devoured we meet Lucas, the jerk of my dreams and leader of the rock band Your Toxic Sequel. "Savor You" is the story of his personal assistant and sister Kylie and his band mate Wyatt. 8 years ago Kylie lost her virginity (and her heart) to Wyatt. In all of that time, through her failed marriage and his "can’t tell ya cause you will find out on your own" drama, they have not been able to get each other out of their minds. They realized a long time ago that theirs was more than a friends with benefits arrangement, but were never able to make it work due to how messed up each of them were. While Kylie is determined to get Wyatt out of her system, he is determined to convince her otherwise. While YTS is on a bit of a hiatus due to their drummers stint in rehab, Wyatt agrees to fill in with his band mate Cal’s cousin’s band for a few bar gigs, and he sees this as a last ditch effort to get back with Kylie who happens to be on vacation with her bestie Heidi in New Orleans. Knowing that this was not a coincidence, Kylie agrees to accompany the boys on their road trip (having her hotel room robbed by Heidi’s one night stand and having no ID or money to get on a plane home kind of solidifies her decision). Sit back and enjoy the ride everyone, and please make sure you buckle up, this is going to be one bumpy ride!

This book tore my heart out. There was a point that I stopped reading it because it was late and I until win the lotto or marry a rich man with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel, I had to go to work the next day. I am glad that I put it down where I did because had I read 1 more page I would not have stopped!!!! The angsty deliciousness was almost more than I could bear at some points. I didn’t want the book to end but I couldn’t wait to find out if they get their happily ever after... you will just have to read this book and find out for yourself... but remember.... read "All Over You" first, then read "Devoured", THEN read "Savor You". At this point you will be like me anxiously awaiting her next book, "Consumed". Well done Miss Snow, you have a lifelong fan in this bookworm.

5 very enthusiastic stars!
